Project La Nave
Located within the La Nave co-showroom in Palma de Mallorca (Carrer de Francesc de Borja Moll 6A), this architectural kitchen installation by Birgit Müller was developed in collaboration with OHLAB Architects and Bornhold - The Fine Art of Interior.
Conceived as part of a curated interior environment, the bespoke kitchen explores the relationship between natural materials, spatial composition and contemporary Mediterranean living.
A monolithic natural stone island forms the focal point of the space, combining sculptural presence with everyday functionality. Warm timber cabinetry softens the mineral surfaces, while integrated appliances and minimal fixtures preserve architectural clarity.
Rather than a purely domestic kitchen, the project functions as a design object — demonstrating how a kitchen can coexist with art, furniture and architecture within a shared showroom setting. The installation highlights material honesty, proportion and atmosphere, core principles of modern kitchen design in Mallorca.
